Comparison Series: Chocolate Shimmers

OK I know I said that China Glaze Watermelon Rind vs. Emerald Sparkle would be next in the Comparison Series, but as it turns out, I lied. I was wearing Nubar Cherry Cordial for a few days when I remembered an old discontinued OPI favorite of mine- OPI Route Beer Float. Route Beer Float is a little hard to find these days, but I actually found one in the local Stop and Shop a few months back. Random, right?
Anyway, OPI Route Beer Float is a lighter chocolate shimmer than Nubar Cherry Cordial. Route Beer Float should really be called Chocolate Milkshake. It's yummy!! Route Beer Float also lacks the reddish tones of Cherry Cordial. Sorry about the weird lumps in my middle nail, I would have done it over, but I was running out of time. Boo.

Cherry Cordial has a very slight duochrome effect in some lights. It's actually more visible in the bottle than it is on the nails. Cherry Cordial is definitely more like chocolate with cherries, whereas Route Beer Float is chocolate milkshake, or maybe a root beer float with quite a lot of ice cream. I love both of these colors so much! If you like OPI Route Beer Float and can't locate another bottle, try Nubar Cherry Cordial.
