Orly Bailamos, three coats, with flash
In high school, my friends and I LOVED Enrique Iglesias's songs Bailamos and Escape. We even had a little dance we did to Escape. So I really bought Orly Bailamos from Orly's Viva Summer 2010 collection just for the name.
Orly Bailamos, three coats, with flash
Boy, am I glad I did!!! This turquoise shimmer is totally unique in my collection and is really eye-catching. Unfortunately, my pictures make it look too blue. The bit of green is what makes this polish different from a lot of the blue polishes out there. It's definitely what I would call teal or turquoise, not just blue. I took pictures with flash to show the shimmer. I also took one kind of dark and blurry picture to show you that it's not as light as it appears in the flash pictures either. The dark picture is closer to the actual color, although it still looks too blue.
Orly Bailamos, three coats, no flash
This has a not quite duochrome look to it. It's like a secret green/gold flash that you catch a glimpse of every now and then. It's also really bright and electric looking, the perfect summer color. I can already tell I'll be wearing this ALL the time. Orly Bailamos is a MUST HAVE for me this summer.
Orly Bailamos is avaiable online at Transdesign.

Polish of the Week: OPI Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow Suede
OPI Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow Suede, three coats, sunlight
OPI Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow, three coats, sunlight
AHHHHHHHHH! OPI Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow Suede is STUNNING!!!!! It looks gorgeous by itself AND with top coat! I took loads of pictures, so I'm only going to make a few comments and I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
OPI Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow Suede, three coats, shade
The formula of this polish is on par with other suede-type polishes. This is three coats in all pictures and each coat dried in about 30 seconds. The first coat looks kind of weak- watery and not opaque at all. But don't worry, the second and third coat make it opaque and nicely even. Excuse my middle nail, it's having some difficulties right now. As I did not use base coat, it's pretty visible. Some people have had some luck using base coats with suedes, but as OPI recommends that you do not use one, I usually don't.
(EDIT)Public Service Announcement: PLEASE WEAR A BASE COAT WITH THIS POLISH. I will now return to researching methods of stain removal. K Thanks Bye.
OPI Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow, three coats plus top coat, sunlight
OPI Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow, three coats plus top coat, sunlight
This polish with a shiny top coat is GORGEOUS! I am wearing it as a full mani right now. I had other things I was going to swatch today, but I didn't want to take this off LOL! OPI Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow Suede is a MUST HAVE and has earned a spot on Never Enough Nails' favorites list. EK and I are both wearing it right now and LOVE it. I hope this is a sign that OPI will release more suedes! What OPI classic colors would you like to see in a suede finish?

China Glaze Nail of the Day: Gold Party
China Glaze "Gold Party", no flash
LOL before we get confused, "Gold Party" is what I'm calling this nail look, it is NOT a new polish from China Glaze. I was bored of cremes and shimmers, so I decided I needed some bling in my manicure. As you many have read before, our first choice for bling is almost always China Glaze Medallion. EK and I absolutely love it. (Although right now, EK has on a SICK combo of OPI Ink and Sinful Colors Green Ocean. I HIGHLY recommend this and we will have pics of that soon.)
China Glaze "Gold Party" Matte, no flash
This mani is two coats of China Glaze Twenty-Four K, a yellow gold metallic shimmer, topped with two coats of China Glaze Medallion. To make it even more fun later on, I added one coat of China Glaze Matte Magic. I have been using KnockOut Cosmetics Flatte Top as my mattifying top coat, but China Glaze Matte Magic mattifies polish better than KnockOut Flatte Top. In this case, it provided that awesome frosted glass look that I love when mattifying glitter. Matte Magic is also WAY cheaper and does a better job for a fraction of the cost!
China Glaze "Gold Party" matte, with flash
China Glaze Twenty-Four K may be available at your local Sally Beauty Supply. China Glaze Medallion and Matte Magic are available online on 8ty8 Beauty.
China Glaze Matte Magic was sent to me by a PR Rep for China Glaze. For more information, please see our Disclosure Policy.
In nail news today, OPI released Here Today, Aragon Tomorrow SUEDE!! SUEDE. A. NEW. SUEDE. I always hoped OPI would release more suedes. A green one is like my dream come true!!!!

Zoya Moxie and Zoya Harley
Zoya Harley, three coats, no flash
I have two random Zoyas to show you today. They've been sitting around in my "to swatch" pile for awhile now. For some reason, I didn't think I'd like them too much. On the nail, I LOVE both of them though!!
Zoya Harley, three coats, no flash
I thought Zoya Harley was going to be sheer just from looking at it in the bottle. Happily, I was wrong. Harley is a gorgeous pale dove gray shimmer that is totally different from other gray polishes I own. This is three coats. The first time I wore this, I slapped it on really fast with no base coat and no top coat and it looked perfect until I removed it three days later! It's really chic looking too. Harley is a MUST HAVE in my book.
Zoya Moxie, two coats, no flash
Remember last spring when berry make-up and nail polish was all the rage? I wish I had had Zoya Moxie then! This is a gorgeous berry creme that is highly pigmented. This is two coats. Moxie was super flattering on my pale skin, and I imagine it would look amazing on deeper skin tones as well! This is a color you can wear all year round. Fall and winter? Absolutely! Spring? Of course, berry was so hot last spring! Summer? It's bright enough for summer as well! If you don't own a color like this, you should give it a try. You'll be surprised how great it looks once you get it on the nail.
Zoya Moxie, two coats, no flash
Zoya Harley and Zoya Moxie are available online at Art of Beauty.
The products in this post were sent to me by a PR agent for Art of Beauty. For more information, see our Disclosure Policy.
Completely unrelated- for any MAC addicts out there- MAC IS DOING A DISNEY VILLAINS COLLECTION!!!!! It will be released in September!!! YES! For more details, check out Karen from Make-up and Beauty Blog's post.

What Started Your Polish Obsession??
OPI Russian Navy, two coats, no flash
I have a question for all of you today- what started your polish obsession? Was it one polish in particular? Was it a gradual process?
I have always loved nail polish. My mom taught me how to apply nail polish when I was pretty young and we had a relatively large drugstore polish collection while I was growing up.
Then... I spotted OPI Russian Navy in a magazine ad. Before that, I think I maybe owned one or two OPI polishes, and I really didn't know that they released seasonal collections. Russian Navy was the first polish that I saw in an ad and then actually went out looking for it. Before that, I really just went and browsed drugstores if I felt like getting new polish. It was actually hard for me to find Russian Navy in my town, but my mom finally found it in a hair salon. After Russian Navy, I began to follow OPI's releases and generally would pick up two or three polishes from each release. Then I started reading nail blogs, I found websites like Transdesign and 8ty8 Beauty, and the rest is history!!!
OPI Russian Navy, two coats, no flash
I still LOVE OPI Russian Navy- it will always have a special place in my heart. Russian Navy a true navy with gorgeous shimmer. I love that it never looks purple or black. Shown is two coats with one coat of Color Club top coat and you can see the reflection of my screen door in my nails!

China Glaze Vintage Vixen Fall 2010 Collection Preview!
China Glaze Vintage Vixen Display
WOW do I have a treat for you today!!!! I have preview pictures and information about the Fall 2010 China Glaze collection- Vintage Vixen.
Here's what China Glaze has to say about the collection-
"For Fall 2010, the China Glaze Vintage Vixen Collection captures the vivid and saturated hues of the 1940's with this seductively complex palette. These classic shades of the season recreate the timeless tableau of movie land mystique, perfect red pouts and steamy nights where swing was the scene!
Cat's Meow
Step out with these multi-faceted jewel tones, rich reds, titillating taupes and smoldering sands. This collection delivers high octane 40's glamour with a sophisticated edge! The 12 colors in this collection include:
Hotsy Totsy
The Vintage Vixen collection should start shipping June 6th internationally and July 6th domestically.
Personally, I'm thrilled because THIS COLLECTION DOES NOT CONTAIN ANY PLAIN CREMES!!!!!! So already, it's looking more promising than half of the collections so far this year. Every single color here has glitter or shimmer. I am most interested in Emerald Fitzgerald (duh), Jitterbug, Bogie, and surprisingly, Ingrid and Classic Camel. Greige with copper glitter? Sweet!! I have holding off getting any greige colors because they kind of bore me when they're cremes, but this collection has three taupe-y colors with glitter and shimmer! I'm excited because I feel like this isn't the same kind of stuff that we tend to see over and over again. Sign me up for all 12 polishes.

Make-up of the Week: MAC Superglass
MAC Superglass in Cherry Electric
We're adding a new weekly feature here on Never Enough Nails- Make-up of the Week. I know this is a nail blog, but quite frankly, EK and I both buy so much make-up, I kind of feel like it would be a crime not to show you at least one item a week! The make-up featured in "Make-up of the Week" will always be make-up that you can easily find in stores. I hate reading about awesome products and then finding out that they were super limited and all sold out or aren't made anymore, etc.
This week's Make-up of the Week product is MAC Superglass in Cherry Electric. Superglass is a new lip product from MAC that contains more glitter than any of their previous lip glosses (including Dazzleglass!). Aside from the normal-sized glitter, these glosses also have big flakes of glitter, like flakie nail polish! If you don't like glitter in your lip gloss, I'll understand if you want to stop reading this post. But for glitter fanatics like me, I LOVE THIS LIP GLOSS SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!
MAC Superglass in Cherry Electric
I picked up Superglass in Cherry Electric. Cherry Electric is the perfect light red-pink color on me. I have very fair skin, so the light hue works very nicely. I love the way the gold flakies in the gloss add a hint of coral color in certain lights. The color of the gloss is closer to the picture of the tube, not the picture on my hand. The hand picture looks too cool-toned and pink.
A lot of people were concerned about these glosses having a gritty texture due to the amount of glitter. I have to say that the gloss isn't as smooth as a lip glass, but I don't think the grit is any more than the grit in a Dazzleglass. It doesn't bother me personally, but I don't rub my lips together constantly. Overall, if you are a glitter lover, I think you need at least one of these!
MAC Superglass is available online at MAC Cosmetics or at a MAC location near you (find a MAC counter near you on MAC Cosmetics.com).

Polish of the Week: China Glaze Reggae to Riches
China Glaze Reggae to Riches, three coats, no flash
We've gotten off track with Polish of the Week lately! I've been so busy and also trying to fit in a little relaxing time that I've let that feature slide for two or three weeks! Ahh!
China Glaze Reggae to Riches, three coats, sunlight
But never fear, Polish of the Week is back with China Glaze Reggae to Riches, a lovely red-purple jelly with blue duochrome effect. HOT! I would call the color fuchsia with blue duochrome, but I feel like "fuchsia" is one of those colors that everyone has a very specific concept of and everyone's concept is different LOL (like "coral", have you noticed that everyone's definition of "coral" is different?). Anyway, the blue flash makes this polish totally unique in my collection. The blue flash was also a little hard to capture properly, I feel like it's more noticeable in person. That's why I took the picture below with flash, so you can clearly see the blue.
China Glaze Reggae to Riches, three coats, with flash
The formula of Reggae to Riches is pretty good. The first coat was a little streaky and I had some bare patches, but that was easily fixed with the second and third coats. There is a little bit of VNL in some lights, but as this is a jelly polish, that's pretty much to be expected.
China Glaze Reggae to Riches is available at your local Sally Beauty Supply store or online at Transdesign.

OPI Who The Shrek Are You?
OPI Who The Shrek Are You?, three coats, with flash
OPI Who The Shrek Are You? comes from the OPI Brights release for the year- The OPI Shrek Forever After collection. If you're a big fan of the Shrek movies, this collection is for you! The collection features six cremes, all inspired by the Shrek movies. The polishes are (these descriptions are mine, by the way, not OPI's):
Rumple's Wiggin'- a pale lilac-y creme
What's With the Cattitude?- a pale sky blue creme
Fiercely Fiona- a light yellow-green creme
Funky Dunkey- a medium purple creme
Ogre-The-Top-Blue- a medium blue creme
Who The Shrek Are You?- a bright yellow green creme
Out of these six colors, I only picked up Who The Shrek Are You?. The others seemed very dupe-able, although they looked like nice colors. Also, I'm so sick of cremes, it's not even funny. If I designed this collection, Who The Shrek Are You? would have been a yellow-green glitter, ala Alice. I would have purchased multiple bottles of that. And maybe Funky Dunkey as a duochrome... and Fiercely Fiona as a Suede. That would have been a HOT collection. But I guess the OPI Brights collection is always cremes, isn't it?
OPI Who The Shrek Are You?, three coats, no flash
(note about the pictures- I put cream on my hands, and I guess it didn't absorb all the way, so it looks like the skin around my fingers is all weird, but it's just the cream. It looked fine to my eye, but the macro setting picks up everything!)
Moving on to the one polish I actually did get. I think the picture with flash really shows how bright Who The Shrek Are You? is. This is a great color, even though it is a creme. It's definitely unusual and not for the average sheer pink polish wearing woman. The formula was great. I thought it would go on very sheer and still have VNL after three coats, but it surprised me. It was opaque in three coats and applied with the ease we have come to expect from OPI. This is definitely my kind of color. I can see that it's not for everyone, but I love it. And, it was actually pretty flattering on my pale skin. I wear this color eyeshadow a lot too LOL. My favorite MAC eyeshadow is Rated "R", a weird acid yellow-green that's a bit darker than this polish.
OPI Who The Shrek Are You?, three coats, no flash
Anyway, if you're a Shrek fan, or you're somehow still looking to purchase some more creme polishes, check out this collection. Otherwise, save your cash for something more glittery LOL.

Fun with Drugstore Polish Part Two!!!
SinfulColors Frenzy, four coats, sunlight
First up in the continuation of Fun with Drugstore polish is SinfulColors Frenzy. Frenzy is multi-colored glitter in a clear base. The glitter is purple, pale blue, maybe some silver thrown in there, etc., with the dominant color being purple. This is not the most opaque glitter polish ever, but I am really loving it!!! This is four coats and you can still see through the glitter, but it's super pretty! In the pictures, you can't really see the baby blue glitter, but it's a really nice touch in person. If you can't stand seeing your nail through the glitter, this would be fantastic over pale pink or purple. I would say this is a Must Have for me, but maybe not for someone who isn't a glitter fanatic.
SinfulColors Frenzy, four coats, with flash
L'Oreal Water's Edge, three coats, sunlight
Next up is L'Oreal Water's Edge. This polish fits in with many of the releases this spring- it's a pale blue-green creme. I only own one other L'Oreal polish, I generally don't buy them due to the reasons we discussed the other day (animal testing). The formula on this one was only so-so. It was hard to prevent streaking with this polish. I let the polish dry in between coats, but it still ended up pretty uneven looking (check out my third and fourth nail there in the picture), although that did improve with the application of top coat. This is three coats. I wouldn't call this one a Must Have, as the application wasn't amazing, nor is the color truly unique. However, it is a pretty color for spring, and if you don't own anything like it, this is a cheaper option than some other releases.

Last, but definitely not least, I managed to locate a bottle of SinfulColors Green Ocean hiding out in Walgreens!!! Green Ocean was released in early March, or maybe even late February, I think as part of a St. Patrick's Day collection. I couldn't find it back then, but MAN, am I glad I found it now!!! Green Ocean is a translucent green jelly filled with beautiful iridescent flakies. I layered it over Color Club Dark Romance (from the Halloween mini set) to really show off the flakies. These pictures don't even capture the iridescence though. This looks 10x prettier in real life!!! I love this SO much I am actually going to go back to that Walgreens today to try to pick up another one. This is absolutely a MUST HAVE!!!!!

Fun With Drugstore Polish Part One!!!
The other day I went in search of the elusive Sally Hansen by Tracy Reese polishes (especially Hidden Treasure). I went to Rite Aid, Walgreens, CVS, and also wandered into Target, even though I knew Target wouldn't have them. I didn't find ANY SH by Tracy Reese gems, but I did find myself six other spring/summer treats to show you! This is going to be a two-part post, just for lack of time today. This week has been crazy, more on that later.
Let's start out with my two favorites, both from the Revlon Summer collection. The Revlon summer polishes are scented when dry, although the scent lessens when you apply topcoat and seems to fade away completely after a few hours. Let me just preface these two polishes by saying that I have NEVER met a Revlon polish that I didn't like. They have a fantastic selection of on-trend colors and the formula is always fantastic, as good or better than some China Glazes and OPIs. Revlon has had duochromes and such for years, and they do a great job with offering interesting edgy colors along with more traditional colors. Oh, and we're finally starting to have some good weather, so these pictures are taken in sunlight or shade, no flash involved! They come out so much more accurate this way!

Revlon Ocean Breeze is GORGEOUS!!! I have been wearing it since I did these pictures. It is opaque and even in two coats and the application was a dream. Revlon polishes are a little thin, but I actually prefer thin polishes. That way they don't goop all over your nail like The Blob. Ocean Breeze is a beautiful blue-green shimmer (not quite a metallic) with a slight duochrome effect. I couldn't get the duochrome to show up in pictures, as it is very slight. But it's really pretty when you catch that gold-green flash! Ocean Breeze is a Must Have!!!

Revlon Orange Pop, three coats, sunlight
Next up is Revlon Orange Pop. This is another shimmer, yet not quite metallic, winner with a slight gold-pink duochrome (again not so visible in pictures). This is a really unique orange color. It's orange, but it definitely has a strong dose of red. Sometimes you see a lot of pink, so that it looks almost coral, other times the red stands out more. I would have named this "Fire" or something like that LOL. The formula is like Ocean Breeze- flawless application, a little thin, but easy to work with! I did three coats with this one, but you can definitely get by with two. Three looked better on camera though. I own many orange polishes, but none of them are like this beauty. This is definitely another Must Have!

Nicole by OPI Lemon Lime Twist, three coats, sunlight
The display at Target said that Nicole by OPI Lemon Lime Twist is a Target exclusive, but I feel like I've seen it elsewhere too. With my love of weird yellow-green colors, I snapped this up right away! Lemon Lime Twist is a yellow shimmer with a hint of green. This is three coats, and there was a little bit of VNL, not too much though. There's not a whole lot of lime going on in this polish, in most lights it looks more like a yellow shimmer. I definitely like this polish and I'll wear it a bunch, but I'm not going to call it a Must Have. If you like colors like this, it's a pretty good formula with no real problems, and I don't have any dupes for it.
