OPI Russian Navy, two coats, no flashI have a question for all of you today- what started your polish obsession? Was it one polish in particular? Was it a gradual process?
I have always loved nail polish. My mom taught me how to apply nail polish when I was pretty young and we had a relatively large drugstore polish collection while I was growing up.
Then... I spotted OPI Russian Navy in a magazine ad. Before that, I think I maybe owned one or two OPI polishes, and I really didn't know that they released seasonal collections. Russian Navy was the first polish that I saw in an ad and then actually went out looking for it. Before that, I really just went and browsed drugstores if I felt like getting new polish. It was actually hard for me to find Russian Navy in my town, but my mom finally found it in a hair salon. After Russian Navy, I began to follow OPI's releases and generally would pick up two or three polishes from each release. Then I started reading nail blogs, I found websites like Transdesign and 8ty8 Beauty, and the rest is history!!!

I love that it never looks purple or black. Shown is two coats with one coat of Color Club top coat and you can see the reflection of my screen door in my nails!
