OPI Femme de Cirque Part One- A Never Enough Nails Change of Heart

OPI So Many Clowns...So Little Time

I'm pretty sure it's no secret that I do not really wear sheer pink/nude nail polish. I love vampy colors, OPI Russian Navy being one of my all-time favorite polishes, and you know I love me some glitter. HOWEVER...

I really like OPI's new Soft Shades collection, Femme de Cirque!! No, no, I don't have a fever, I just think I like the change of pace. I think every nail polish addict goes through a phase where they get semi-bored with every new release, and I think Femme de Cirque is the cure for that problem. It's such a drastic change for me that it feels really fresh. Let's take a look.

OPI So Many Clowns... So Little Time

So Many Clowns...So Little Time is a creamy nude pink jelly-ish polish. I think the reason I am enjoying this collection so much is due to the jelly finish of the polishes. I normally find nude pinks and sheers to be streaky, difficult to work with, and frankly just ugly, but So Many Clowns applied like a dream. It is not streaky at all and gives my nails this beautiful natural glowing look. I bet it would look fabulous with a tan. I don't know if I've ever seen a sheer this streak free. My main problem with sheers has been that my nails actually look worse when I wear them. So Many Clowns makes them look amazing though! I can see myself wearing this a lot. This is three coats.

OPI Step Right Up!

OPI Step Right Up!

Step Right Up! is my favorite of the collection. The above picture has some weird shadows in it, but it the best color representation of this polish. It has a lot more pink in it than So Many Clowns, but still has the same squishy jelly feeling, although it is slightly more opaque. This is a really flattering color. The word that comes to mind with this polish is "well-rested". It makes me feel like a rich heiress who gets a mani every 4 days while laying by the pool. This is a polish you probably have to see in person to fully appreciate. I did not own anything like this until now, and I can see that my polish wardrobe was in serious need of this kind of color. Like So Many Clowns, Step Right Up! makes my nails look fabulous. This is also three coats.

OPI In The Spotlight Pink

I thought I'd show you In The Spotlight Pink in it's intended usage- a French manicure pink. This is one coat of In The Spotlight Pink with OPI Alpine Snow chevron tips. This makes a lovely French combo, and I know a lot of French mani fans are always searching for that perfect combination of colors. In The Spotlight Pink is a glowy shell pink sheer that makes my nails look pretty and healthy. I wore this combo for a day and really liked it. I haven't worn a French manicure in years, but again, I think the change of pace was nice. I'm actually wearing three coats of In the Spotlight Pink right now, and I will show you that in the Part Two of this post.

OPI In The Spotlight Pink

I also have I Juggle...Men, the shimmery top coat, to show you in Part Two. The sun set too quickly for me to get that one! Overall, I give this collection a 10/10. Yes, a perfect score for a collection of sheers! These are BY FAR the best sheers I have ever encountered. No streaking, no goopy mess, just perfect application and a healthy glow. (By the way, all of these pics are clickable, so you can see how un-streaky the polishes really are). These are all also super shiny. I showed them with a top coat, but you definitely do not necessarily need one. I can't believe OPI actually has ME wearing sheers. What is the world coming to? If you're like me and don't own anything like this, I think at least Step Right Up! is a MUST HAVE!
