Road House Blues
I never thought it would take me so long to post Part Two of OPI Touring America!! This was one of those weeks when real life gets in the way of blogging. I finally have the other six polishes for you today, and I think this may be my favorite half of the collection. (See the first half here) My favorites of the collection are in this half (more on that later). I also had no troubles with the formulas in this half. No bare spots or streaks or anything. Lovely application, and fairly opaque for the most part. On to the swatches!
Road House Blues (indoors)
Road House Blues
Road House Blues is one of my top three favorites of the whole Touring America collection. It's a gorgeous deep blue creme that never looks black. In sunlight or brighter lighting conditions, it is lighter than navy, more of a deep cobalt color. In low light, it looks like a lovely dark sapphire navy. I knew I would love this one right from the promo pics, and I was right. This only took two coats to be nice and opaque. The formula was OPI at their best. OPI Russian Navy started my extreme polish addiction (I only had a mild addiction before!), and I love Road House Blues as much as I love Russian Navy!

I Brake For Manicures
I Brake For Manicures (indoors)
Next up is a surprise favorite of mine, I Brake For Manicures. I Brake For Manicures is a plum-brown creme. I may have to re-take my pictures of this one, as the sun was very low in the sky and I couldn't capture the plum-iness of this polish. My pictures make it look kind of like an average brown/taupe creme, but it is much more than that! My macro shot shows the plum tones best. This is a super flattering color on my pale skin and I think it would work well with cool or warm undertones. This color screams "FALL!" to me, and I can't wait to wear it all fall and winter on both fingers and toes! This is two coats, this one was very pigmented.

My Address Is "Hollywood"
My Address Is "Hollywood"
One of the two shimmers in this half was My Address Is "Hollywood". I did not think that I would care for this one, based on the promo pictures, but I really love it! It's a nice color pink, and one that I don't have in my collection. It's kind of a nice rose color. The shimmer is not too obvious (similar to the shimmer in Are We There Yet?). It's gold shimmer, though, and it's very pretty when the light catches it. This was three coats, but I would wear two if I didn't have to photograph this. The formula was very nice and even, no streaks or problems.

I Eat Mainely Lobster
I Eat Mainely Lobster
I have been SO anxiously awaiting I Eat Mainely Lobster since the very first time I glimpsed a picture of the bottle. Personally, I really like when companies throw an unexpected color into a collection. Is this a traditional fall color? No. Do I think that's awesome? Yes! Plus, this and Are We There Yet? kind of remind me of some of the really pretty bright colors that leaves turn here in New England. New England is known for it's beautiful fall foliage, and some trees do turn this beautiful orange-y coral color. This was three coats and I wore this as a full mani immediately upon swatching it. Needless to say, this is the third polish in my top three favorites of this collection.

Suzi Takes The Wheel
Suzi Takes The Wheel
Suzi Takes The Wheel is a light gray creme. It is more of a green-gray than French Quarter For Your Thoughts. I like both of these grays, but I prefer Suzi Takes The Wheel because I do enjoy a good green-leaning gray. This is two coats, and the formula was maybe a tad thicker than some OPIs, but not unmanageable in any way.

Uh-Oh Roll Down The Window
Uh-Oh Roll Down The Window
Ahhhh, Uh-Oh Roll Down The Window... First of all, let me say, I have purchased polishes just for the name in the past. But, I would never let a gross/bad/silly name keep me from buying an awesome polish! So, if you hate this name, don't let that interfere with your love for this polish. Personally, I think the name reflects a bit of the classic Americana road trip, with the annoying little brother who farts in the backseat when you have all the windows closed. LOL. (I am an only child, so I actually have no personal experience with this. I have only seen this happen on TV.) Anyway, this is an awesome swampy, murky green camouflage-y creme. It's a seriously cool color! I tried to find something similar in my stash, but alas, everything was either to green or too gray. I LOVE this one. It didn't make it quite into my top three, but that's only because I have about 7 favorites from this collection. This was two coats.

Overall, I am as obsessed with this whole collection as I thought I'd be. My Must Haves would be: I Eat Mainely Lobster, Road House Blues, I Brake For Manicures, Honk If You Love OPI, A-Taupe the Space Needle, My Address is "Hollywood", and Uh-Oh Roll Down the Window. So, yeah. That's more than half of this collection. I'd say OPI did a good job with this one!!
OPI Touring America is available now at professional salons, including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, JCPenney, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, and ULTA.
