Wet n Wild Behind Closed Doors

Wet n Wild Behind Closed Doors is another polish from the elusive On The Prowl collection. It is a seriously awesome black jelly polish with small red glitter and medium red hexagon glitter. For my first pictures of this polish, I wanted to show it to you on it's own, not layered over something else. The first picture was taken indoors, and gives you the best idea of what this polish looks like alone, using three coats. Make sure you click on that picture to really see the polish!

Outdoors in the sun, this really looks super sheer. It is sheer, being a jelly and all, but it is definitely not THIS sheer in person. I do think I will have to show you this layered over black for you to really get the idea of it's awesomeness. Personally, I would wear it alone. The black jelly looks spooky and mysterious and I really love it!!

It looks uneven in my outdoor pictures, but it didn't look that way to the naked eye. It is chock full of the red glitter, though. It is not at all difficult to ensure that the red hexagon glitter gets on the nail. I definitely recommend picking this polish up if you can find it! And, never fear, I will show it again, layered over black.

Wet n Wild has a where to buy on their website, although this collection is hard to find. I found this collection at Harmon.

  1. Sometimes you wonder why the camera 'see' something else then we do... but I have the same problem, but I haven't found a solution yet...

The polish looks great! The big pieces of glitter are so pretty

  4. This is an interesting color. I have one sorta like it, Milani Garnet Gems. It's the "sheer-ish" black with the red sparkle! Love to wear it over black!

  7. That looks like a great, affordable dupe for Deborah Lippmann 'Ruby Red Slippers'. I never find the LE WnW's at my location, though... I want to compare them, lol! Thanks for the swatches! ^_^

Nana- I hope you can find it too! I love it!

sabbatha- I don't have that one! Is it readily available? I'd love to find people a dupe for this!

Sasha- I like that's it a sheer jelly too! I think it makes it more interesting!

Peace, Love & Polish- I don't have Garnet Gems, was it LE? I don't think I've even seen that one!

Fingers- don't worry! I have lots of other fun stuff coming up :)

Sarah- if you can find it, grab it soon! I hear people are having a lot of trouble locating this collection.

    Pretty- I hope you do!

ANA- I would love to compare them too, but I don't own Ruby Red Slippers, unfortunately! Wish I did tho!

Peredita- I bet you will want it even more when you see it layered! ;)

What part of the country are you in? I've been looking high and low in Massachusetts with no luck so far.
