Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! As you read this, I am dancing somewhere, maybe at a farmer's market, a wedding, a pub or a birthday party! But, I cooked up a little St. Patrick's Day glitter sandwich for your viewing (dis)pleasure today. I have to say, this sandwich looked WAY cooler in person. The glitter looks a little too buried in these pictures.
I've been wanting to do a glitter sandwich with Lynnderella I Can Afford It! since I posted about it, and I thought a good sandwich companion would be China Glaze In The Lime Light. In The Lime Light is not a jelly, it's a neon, but neons are usually quite sheer on the first coat so I wanted to give it a try. I did two coats of In The Lime Light as a base, two coats of Lynnderella I Can Afford It! in the middle, and one coat of In The Lime Light on top. It looked pretty awesome in person! I think the shimmer in In The Lime Light is making the glitter look hidden in the pictures.
Well, this might be a photography fail more than a nail fail, but feel free to try a green glitter sandwich to celebrate your St. Patrick's Day!!
China Glaze In The Lime Light can usually be found at Ulta. Lynnderella is on a break from producing her polishes, but I'm sure she'll be back. I'll keep you posted about that!
It's very bright and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks Peace, Love and Polish! I had fun wearing this!
