If you don't already know, I am an Irish dancer, so the next couple of weeks are CRAZZZYYYYYY! I'm marching in about 67 parades, dancing in 48 pubs, one wedding, two TV stations, etc. etc. Naturally, I always try to do some festive nail looks for the events. This weekend, I am marching in two parades and doing a couple shows, so I wanted to do a Irish flag on my nails.
When I started this look, I was planning on using scotch tape to make the lines even, but then I got impatient (hey, I'm busy with all these shows!), and unfortunately, I removed the tape before the white was dry. But I continued on and I was reasonably happy with how this looked from a normal distance. No one really looks at my nails as close as I do, right?
For my flag, I used OPI Alpine Snow, OPI Green-wich Ave., and OPI Tangerine Scene. These three polishes are always my go to colors for the Irish flag, I think they look the closest to the actual flag, but I'm sure you could use a variety of whites, greens, and oranges!
If you'd like to see myself and other dancers from my school perform on a CT news station, check it out here. One video is of three of the younger girls I teach, but I am in the second video! My dress is black with orange and pink if you're looking for me!
