OPI Call Me Gwen-ever

Continuing with the couple of shades I got from the OPI The Amazing Spider-Man collection, today's swatch is the lovely OPI Call Me Gwen-ever. I am so happy I got this lovely soft coral creme. When I first saw the promo pictures, I thought this polish looked just orange and very similar to many oranges I already own. However, it's a soft, dusty coral orange with more pink tones than red.

I had a whole bunch of polishes I was going to compare this to, but once I got it on the nail, I realized I don't actually own anything like it. Most corals I own are too red and vibrantly bright. Most oranges are far too orange and again, bright. This is a dusty soft mix of orange and pink that I am really loving.

This is just two coats of OPI Call Me Gwen-ever. It gave really smooth, great coverage with one coat too, so you may be able to even manage that! This polish had an excellent formula as well. No complaints here!

OPI Call Me Gwen-ever and the rest of the OPI The Amazing Spider-Man polishes are available now at Professional Salons, including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, JCPenney, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, and ULTA, for $8.50 ($9.95 CAN) suggested retail for each Nail Lacquer.

This polish was sent for review. For more information, please read my Disclosure Policy.

  1. I like this dusty orange...did not pick it up on first passing of the purchase I made from the collection however. I grabbed the one I knew was going to be hard to get down the road - the green/gold one - 'Lizard.' I also liked My Boyfriend Scales Walls for some reason - odd as I don't usually look that good in the stark colors. But if that shade ends up not working that great on me- it will always work as good 'underwear' for sheers you don't want sheer & also under neons that need a white under them...this grayed white on 'Walls' is kind of fun compared to optic white. Least I think it will be - have not played with it yet - but now seeing this orange more I can see it for summer and fall both!

Thanks OPI Addict! I liked it on me a lot too
