Two New OPI Designer Series Polishes Herald the Coming Fall

I have a tasty treat for you all today! The two new OPI Designer Series polishes are the perfect way to get into the fall spirit. I am nowhere near ready for summer to end, but these two sparkling polishes have me reconsidering. First up is OPI DS Indulgence, a sparkling medium red overflowing with golden shimmer. This reminds me of crisp air, crunchy leaves and cozy things!

Look at the jaw-dropping gold shimmer. If you are into polishes with gold sparkle, these are for you. Luckily, I am really into gold shimmer! This is three coats of DS Indulgence, but it was opaque in two. The third was just for my picky camera lens. Application was like taking candy from a baby. (side note: where did that phrase come from? Is taking candy from a baby actually that easy? I would imagine said baby would cry a lot.)

If I enjoy gold shimmer in red polish, I enjoy it 57 times more in orange polish!! You know my love of orange! DS Luxurious is crammed full of the same stunning gold shimmer as Indulgence. Both of these polishes contain diamond dust, and I guess that is why they sparkle so beautifully!

Luxurious is a nice fall shade of orange too. A little deeper and slightly rustier than the oranges we saw for summer. It also reminds me of crunchy leaves! There is an entire tree above my neighbor's house that turns this exact shade of orange every fall. It's neat because it changes color before the other trees, so it's this fiery flash in a sea of ordinary green. Very cool.

This is three coats of Luxurious, but same thing, it's really opaque in two coats. Almost in one coat actually. Same flawless, baby candy stealing application.

I know that non-holo DS polishes are maybe a little controversial, since the line really used to be holo only. However, these are gorgeous, so I honestly am not sad!
