Essie Penny Talk

Base: One coat CND Stickey
Color: Two coats Essie Penny Talk
Top: One coat Seche Vite
Application: Good (out of poor, average, good, excellent)

Just F.Y.I., I did not take the above picture like that. Blogger decided to randomly flip my picture on it's side like it likes to do sometimes and I am too lazy to try to re-upload it. I'm having one of those weeks though, when everything seems like a giant pain in the butt. Anyway, I finally got Essie Penny Talk, the only polish from Mirror Metallics that I really wanted. Penny Talk is a pretty soft coppery rose gold metallic.

Essie Penny Talk is a bit brushstroke-y, but I knew it would be when I bought it. The brushstrokes aren't terrible, I can live with them. This is only two coats of Penny Talk, and it was actually opaque in one. I gave it a "good" mark for application because it was not as terrible as I thought it would be. That's probably not a good way to judge a polish, but it really did perform better than I was expecting. Overall, this is a soft pretty metallic and I'm glad I got it!

Essie Penny Talk is available now at drugstores and Walmart.

So, how's your week going? I hope some of you had Columbus Day off yesterday! I did not, but I actually have a day off this weekend finally, so I'm looking forward to it!

  3. Isn't that annoying OPI Addict? Why does it rotate pictures randomly??

Tintin- yea, I think the streaking is something you either can deal with or not. I'll deal with it for the color!

Natalija- it is a pretty color!!
