More Glitz from the Nicole by OPI Selena Gomez Collection

Base: one coat Nicole by OPI Base Coat Plus
Color: two coats Nicole by OPI Spring Break
Top: one coat Seche Vite
Application: excellent (out of poor, average, good, excellent)

Despite the fact that I am running around finishing my Christmas shopping and wearing red and green on my nails today, I'm also thinking about spring a little bit! More specifically, the bright cremes in today's post, like Nicole by OPI Spring Break. Spring Break is part of the Nicole by OPI Selena Gomez collection, and it's a lovely bright pink creme. This color puts me in the mood for a vacation to somewhere warm and tropical. Good thing I have the nail polish though, cause that ain't happening.

This is just two coats of Spring Break, and the formula was really nice. Very easy to apply and control. This may not be the most unique polish in the collection, but it's definitely a color that everyone should own. I myself usually reach for these bright pink colors pretty often in the spring and summer, especially for my toes.

Next up for you bar glitter fans, we have Nicole by OPI Stars At Night. Stars At Night is a silver and holo bar glitter party in a clear base. You may know that I'm not the world's biggest bar glitter fan, but I like this one OK. The bars are small enough that they don't look too messy and the polish is dense enough so it doesn't look hairy. There were more holo bars than my picture depicts, the light was a bit dim and my camera didn't want to show you the holo bars.

Stars At Night is nice and easy to apply. This is two coats, but one coat yielded pretty good coverage. I just wanted more glitter (I always want moarrrrr glittahhh!). For a bar glitter, I found the application to be really good.

Base: one coat Nicole by OPI Base Coat Plus
Color: three coats Nicole by OPI Naturally
Top: one coat Seche Vite
Application: average (out of poor, average, good, excellent)

I really love this peachy pink with delicate shimmer. Nicole by OPI Naturally is the kind of polish that I love when I swatch it, but then I never wear it because I'm too busy wearing glitter or ugly/pretty greens. The shimmer in this is very very light, so it's almost a creme, but somehow that tiny bit of shimmer provides some glow to the polish.

This is three coats of Naturally and it is nicely opaque. I found it was basically opaque in two coats, but looked a bit streaky. The third coat really evened things out. The formula is kind of typical of some light cremes. Very streaky and sheer on the first coat, then builds up and gets less streaky in 2-3 coats. Naturally also took longer to dry than the other polishes in this collection, even with Seche.

Color: one coat Nicole by OPI Kissed At Midnight over three coats Nicole by OPI Naturally
Top: one coat Seche Vite
Application: excellent (out of poor, average, good, excellent)

Now here's a combo I can really get behind!!! Nicole by OPI Kissed At Midnight is EXACTLY my style. Is that predictable? Am I in a nail rut because glitter is all I wear? Anyway, Kissed At Midnight is a nice mix of a couple different sizes of gold glitter in a clear base. The gold color is not super yellow gold, for those of you concerned about gold with your skin tone. It's kind of a pale gold, which is a nice departure from the 600 other gold glitter topper polishes I probably have.

Kissed At Midnight applied really nicely! This is only one coat, so you could probably wear this alone in three coats. There was no need for dabbing or placing the glitter, just brush on like normal polish. Removal wasn't bad either. This is a pretty fuss-free glitter, but it also looks really striking. I'm considering wearing this for New Year's, maybe over silver. In any case, I will wear this a LOT. I also really love it over Naturally. Pale pink and gold isn't a combo I've worn before, but I'm feelin it!

Of these four polishes, Kissed At Midnight is by far my favorite. I also really like Naturally, for it's peachy pink goodness. Stars At Night is great if you love bar glitter and Spring Break is a must have if you don't own a color like that already, so all in all, a great bunch of polishes. I have six more polishes in the Selena Gomez collection to review, and several are glitters! Yay!
