Base: one coat Zoya Get Even
Color: three coats Sephora + Pantone Universe Color Charged Graphic Lacquer in Emerald
Top: one coat Poshe
Application: excellent (out of poor, average, good, excellent)
When Sephora + Pantone Universe announced their 2013 Emerald collection, I was PUMPED! I love emerald green make-up and polish, and I really loved last year's Tangerine Tango line from Sephora + Pantone. The products were excellent quality. Today I have the Sephora + Pantone Color Charged Graphic Lacquer from the collection to show you! This polish is a striking emerald green crelly. The end finish is more opaque than a jelly, but it has the squishy, super shiny texture of a jelly. The color is more green and vibrant than my pictures are showing. My camera wanted to make this look blue. It's also very bright in person!
This polish applied beautifully. It had a gel-like texture, like the Tangerine Tango creme from last year. I used three thin coats, but it was pigmented enough that I'm sure you could use two coats. I love polishes that feel like gel, they're so easy to control.
Another thing I love about the Sephora + Pantone line is the packaging. It's beautiful and feels fancy! Check out the cool box this polish came in!
The top slides off to reveal the polish:
And then, the whole white box slides out so you can take the polish out of the box. The cardboard is very sturdy, so you could keep the box and re-purpose it if you wanted. I kept one of the boxes from the Tangerine Tango collection last year (maybe the lip gloss set?) and I've been thinking of storing bobby pins/hair elastics in it.
This polish is the most beautiful shade of emerald and also has a great formula. What more can I ask for? The Color Charged lacquer will be available in March for $10 at Sephora stores and Sephora online. There will also be a mini polish set with an emerald glitter, an emerald with silver shimmer and a matte metallic for $18. You can bet I will be checking that out as soon as possible.

This sounds nice (especially with the gel like consistency) but is it a true emerald? I always tend to think emerald is a darker green.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean Abby, it's definitely brighter than what I normally picture when I think of emerald. But I did some googling and I guess emeralds can vary in lightness. I found some pictures that look similar this, so I guess it is emerald!
ReplyDeleteOH! You know what this reminds me of Abby? Those emerald earrings Angelina Jolie wore somewhere! If you google Angelina Jolie emerald earrings, you'll see what I mean!
ReplyDeleteThat is one lovely Emerald! Wow!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it pretty Polishalcoholic? I love it! I am kind of obsessed with it actually!
