I think I am officially loving the texture trend now!! I was on the fence when all of the texture polishes started to surface, but with the release of the Zoya PixieDust Summer collection, I am definitely on board! Just a little disclaimer for this post, I had a salon manicure a few weeks ago and have had cuticle issues on my middle nail since then, so I do apologize for any redness there! I did try to hide it for you with my watermark LOL. Anyway, on to the beautiful Zoya Solange, the first polish I tried from this collection. Zoya describes Solange as a "gold metal foil sparkle". Solange is a really pretty yellow gold, just the kind of gold I love. Solange seems more like one of those sugar fine glitter polishes than some of the other texture polishes. It definitely contains more glitter/sparkle than other textures I've tried, and the base appears clear, not tinted.
Solange was super easy and nice to apply. It was nicely pigmented and covered completely in two coats. It wasn't too thick or too thin, and it also dried super fast. It's the kind of polish that will become a trusty friend of mine when I am in a huge hurry to get out the door, but also want pretty nails.
I did try all of these polishes with one coat of Gelous to see how they look shiny. Below you can see Solange with a shiny top coat. All of these PixieDust polishes felt smooth with just one coat of Gelous. If you hate the textured feeling, but like any of these colors, I would definitely say just get them anyway. It's not hard to get them smooth and glossy, so just go for it!

Color: three coats Zoya Beatrix
Top: none (unless otherwise indicated)
Application: good (out of poor, average, good, excellent)

Zoya Beatrix is a really gorgeous shade of light tangerine matte sparkle, or "matte foil twinkle" as Zoya calls their texture formula. Anything in the orange family is my favorite thing to wear in the summer, so Beatrix and I will be spending a lot of time together! Beatrix, like Solange, is mostly glitter, like those sugar fine glitters I love. It's pretty fine and smooth glitter though, not rough at all.
Beatrix fully covered my nail line in three coats. It was slightly less pigmented than Solange, but not terribly so. If you tend to do thicker coats, you could probably get away with two. The application was pretty easy and nice, the formula felt maybe a bit thinner than that of Solange, but not in a bad way.
Here's Beatrix with one coat of Gelous. Come on, even you texture-phobes have to say this is gorgeous!! Again, it's very easy to get these polishes smooth and glossy.

Zoya Stevie is more like other texture polishes, in that it is mostly silver sparkles in a light violet tinted base. It looks like there are purple glitter pieces in there too, but the silver ones really pop out at you. I love this color purple for spring and summer, it always looks fresh and pretty. I wish this was named something else. The name "Stevie" irritates me for some unknown reason! I apologize if your name is Stevie! I think I'm thinking of a movie or something and the girl named Stevie was super annoying, LOL.
Stevie was pretty easy to apply. It was less pigmented than Solange and Beatrix. I needed three coats and I can still see a bit of VNL at times. I love the color, so I will definitely still wear it!
Here is Stevie with one coat of Gelous. Love this so much!!
I can't wait to try the other three polishes in the Summer PixieDust collection! I really loved the first three, and I do think there is something to love here even if you hate the idea of textured nails. These are really not rough, and they feel and look smooth with just one coat of a thicker top coat. I'm definitely liking the textured polishes better in summer colors too!
