China Glaze Metro Pollen-Tin

 *purchased by me*

Another China Glaze City Flourish polish for you today and another one that was hard to capture on camera! I did notice that several other bloggers reported having a lot of trouble taking accurate pictures of some of the City Flourish polishes, so I don't feel like such a failure, but it still makes me mad when this happens. Anyway, China Glaze Metro Pollen-tin is an apricot tinged yellow creme. It's not just straight up yellow, it has a bit of orange to it that really did remind me of an apricot. It's bright, but not neon. I have an extensive yellow and orange polish collection and could not come up with anything like this. Everything else was either too yellow or too orange. This is a yellow, but towards the peach/orange side of the spectrum.

Metro Pollen-tin needed three coats to make it perfectly even, but I think the formula was less troublesome than At Vase Value and Grass Is Lime Greener. It's still three coats, but it's a slightly easier three coats.

Ultimately, I am really happy with the three China Glaze City Flourish colors I have. The colors are bright, fun and unique. I can deal with applying three coats a bit carefully on occasion if the color is worth it. If you have no patience and don't want to deal with anything less than buttery perfection, you should stay away from these. I also ordered Thistle Do Nicely from the same collection, but I didn't receive it in my package. I'm trying to fix that situation now, so I may have swatches of that too. Did you get any City Flourish colors or do you plan to? I'm eyeing the Off Shore collectio now myself!
