Although spring has definitely not sprung outside my window, it has in the nail polish world! Spring collections with cheery colors are out in full force, including the Barielle Gentle Breeze Spring 2015 collection. Even the name "Gentle Breeze" makes it feel warmer in here! First up in this pretty group of polishes is Barielle Heaven Sent, a soft, yet bright feeling baby blue creme. This lovely polish has the spring-y feeling of a pastel, but it's a little more saturated. Heaven Sent is so perfect for spring!
This is two super easy coats of Heaven Sent. It has a really great formula, near perfect! It was nearly opaque in one coat! Sometimes colors like this can be a bit tricky, but not this one. A winner all around!
Barielle Under the Sea is a medium teal shimmer. It's a nice balance of green and blue, maybe a tad more green than in the first picture here. The shimmer is teeny tiny silver flecks, very pretty in the teal base. Barielle describes this as a "rich, sea scuba blue shimmer". Haha, I love that- sea scuba blue! Love this color!
This is three coats of Under the Sea. It was pretty thin and watery in consistency, so I did have to be careful to avoid flooding my cuticles. If you do thicker coats, you will probably be OK with two coats, but I needed a third for full opacity.
Barielle Champagne Bubbles is described as a "creamy tangerine". On me, it's more of a warm-toned beige creme. If I were going to describe it using a fruit, I think I would pick apricot, not tangerine. It's a bit too warm and tan to be a nude for me, but it could be someone's nude, or a nice flattering work appropriate shade. It has a squishy finish to it that is a bit cruelly-like.
This is three coats of Champagne Bubbles. The first coat was very sheer, but it built up to full opacity in three coats. It was on the thin side, like Under the Sea.
This lovely pale grey pearl is Barielle Gray Sky. It is described as a "rich, creamy glacier gray". It has the icy feel of a glacier for sure. The shimmer in this is nice and smooth, more like a subtle pearl than chunky shimmer.
This is two coats of Gray Sky. It was maybe a tad thin, but not difficult to apply.
Barielle Pink Parasol is a bubblegum pink creme, the color of strawberry candy. This is another one that feels a little pastel, but it's more saturated than a pastel pink for sure. This is a really delicious pink and nothing says spring like a bubblegum pink!
This is three coats of Pink Parasol. Again, I do tend to do thinner coats, so two would probably work fine here. The formula was good, nice consistency and easy to apply.

This collection really says spring to me and I like it a lot! I keep being impressed by Barielle's collections, most recently, the fall Jetsetter collection (swatches here and here). My top picks from this one would definitely be Heaven Sent, Under the Sea and Pink Parasol! The Barielle Gentle Breeze collection is available now at Barielle.com.
