Only a few more days until the real start of summer here and I have already been wearing my bright polishes a lot! The OPI Brights 2015 collection has some great offerings for summer fun and I have the second half of my swatches for you today. This bright warm red squishy creme is OPI I STOP For Red. It is a little orange toned, but definitely more red than anything else. It is brighter and warmer than OPI Red Hot Rio and is brighter than OPI Fashion a Bow in the bottle. It has the same sort of squishy creme or slightly jellyish finish as those two.
This is three coats of I STOP For Red. Due to it's jelly nature, it still had a bit of VNL at three coats, but it's the pretty kind that looks like candy, not the kind that looks like you did your nails wrong! The formula was a lovely consistency and very easy to apply.
Another one of my favorites from last year, OPI Life Gave Me Lemons, is a yellow creme with lime hints. This is a great tropical yellow and I like that you can wear it alone or over a white base for more pop. When layered over a white base, it looks more like a true neon. Either way, it's nice and summery!
This is three coats of Life Gave Me Lemons. Yellows are notoriously streaky and/or not well pigmented, but this one is pretty good. Two coats was a little streaky, but the third evened it out nicely and pigmentation was good.
OPI The Berry Thought of You is a very juicy looking pink berry creme. It is kind of berry/purple, but it does have a nice bit of pink to brighten it up. When I say "pink berry" all I can think of is Pinkberry frozen yogurt. And now I would like some Mango Madness fro yo with kiwis on top, please. Back to polish now, if you're a fan of berry polish, check out this great bright berry for summer.
This is two coats of The Berry Thought of You. It was great to apply, nicely pigmented and had a fantastic formula. Love this for sure! I have plans to make this my next pedi color.
OPI My Car Has Navy-gation is a navy blue creme with purple tones. I love navy in the summer, it always feel really fresh and nautical. This navy is kind of a squishy jellyish navy, and I'm not sure I'm loving the VNL with navy. I like the purple hints that brighten this deep dark blue.
I do think that OPI has done navy blues with way better formulas than this one. It seems like maybe they added some neon pigment, because it's goopy, on the thicker side, and dries semi-matte. This is three coats and it looked fine in the end, but I'm not sure I would reach for it all the time.

Overall, I am enjoying the OPI 2015 Brights. My favorite is still Can't Hear Myself Pink!, but I also really enjoy The Berry Thought of You. If you don't own the ones from last year yet, Down to the Core-al is a must have and Life Gave Me Lemons is perfect for the yellow-lovers.
The OPI Brights collection is available now at Ulta.com and fine salons.
