Zoya Petals Collection Swatches!

*Sent for review*

So sadly, here in CT it snowed this morning and yesterday, and may snow again later tonight. However, it is technically spring and I have the beautiful Zoya spring Petals polishes for you today! This shimmery peach is Zoya Zahara. It is a nicely balanced peach hue, a good blend of pink and yellow tones. The shimmer is pink, silver and maybe some hints of blue and it's a really pretty, ethereal looking shimmer. I'm not convinced that this is a great shade for my skin tone, but I like it anyway and will wear it!

This is three coats. I found that the Petals colors were not really the most pigmented polishes that Zoya has to offer. This one was very sheer on the first coat, but did build up with a second and third.

Zoya Tulip is described as "Pure pastel salmon cream with the slightest hint of sheen to mimic
a petal soft finish". It is a pale warm peach-pink creme and you can see a very teeny bit of shimmer on the nail if you look closely. The color of this is almost like a really washed out pale coral. Pretty and springy!

This is three coats of Tulip and I still have some VNL. The formula of this one was on the thinner side.

Zoya Laurel is a super soft cotton candy pink creme with the same tiny hint of shimmer as Tulip. From a distance, it looks like a creme, but up close, you see a smattering of delicate shimmer flecks. Laurel is a slightly warmer toned baby pink than some others in my collection, so it makes it a bit more unique!

This is three coats and I'm happy with the coverage here. This was had a better consistency and formula, and it was nicely opaque with three thin coats. You could do two if you do thicker coats.

Well you probably have already guessed that Zoya Aster is my favorite of this collection!! Aster is a lovely periwinkle with generous touches of lavender and soft silver glass-fleck-like shimmer. Zoya describes it as "Fresh periwinkle with flecks of fuchsia to create a dewy finish,
mimicking the look of spring flowers in the morning". Ahhh, spring flowers!

This is three thin coats and the formula was good. The first coat was a bit sheer, but the second and third made it nicely opaque. It was easy to apply.

This one is so true to it's name- Zoya Azalea looks JUST like the beautiful azalea bushes that bloom in the spring. It is a perfect azalea flower pink, with lots of beautiful white-silver shimmer. I love this kind of shimmer and Zoya does it so well!

This is two easy coats. This one might win the best formula in the collection.

Zoya Leia is a gorgeous sheer topper that creates a super pretty duochrome effect! Leia has purple, fuchsia, green, and gold shimmer in it's sheer white opal base. For these pictures, I used it over Zoya Cynthia (a blackened teal creme). I would imagine this will also be gorgeous over soft pastel shades to kind of give them some extra oomph for spring.

This is two thin coats over two coats of Cynthia. You could probably do just one coat if you are using Leia over a pale shade, but over the dark shade, I could see some spots I missed. The formula is very good, nice consistency and it covers pretty evenly. It is really a topper, just as Zoya described it. I don't think it would have a lot of impact over bare nails.

This collection really feels like spring! Soft, flower petal colors and delicate shimmer. My favorite is Aster of course, but I really love Leia and all of the options it provides for how to wear it!
