I have a little something different for you today- Zoya lipsticks!! Zoya released two lipsticks to go with their Seashells and Sunsets summer collection, and they are both gorgeous! I've never tried Zoya lipstick before and I will say that I am very impressed. Here we have Zoya Candy (left) and Zoya Mellie (right).
Candy is a classic hot pink lipstick. It leans towards the cool-toned, blue-pink side of things. It's bright, but not in an obnoxious way. It's just enough to brighten up your face and flatter your skin tone. This has medium coverage according to Zoya and I think that is so perfect for summer. It creates a "just ate a popsicle" look. It doesn't look thick or heavy at all. The amount of shine is perfect for summer too. Candy applied really well, gliding on to my lips and covering evenly.
My personal favorite of the two, Mellie is a red-pink cream, more of a coral pink. It is a bit warmer-toned than Candy, so I think it is more flattering for me. Mellie is also a medium coverage lipstick and has that same nice popsicle effect as Candy. For me in the summer, I think this kind of coverage is better than a heavy matte lipstick. It feels light and fun! This applied perfectly and I only needed one "coat" for this coverage.

Something to note- I own hundreds of lipsticks from MAC, Chanel, NARS, and other brands (I am just as obsessed with makeup as I am with nail polish). The quality of these Zoya lipsticks is quite on par with any lipstick I own from those brands. They apply beautifully and the finish is gorgeous. The colors pop nicely and they also leave my lips feeling nice, not dried up. I can't wait to wear these in the summer! I am so impressed with these, I want to order some more Zoya lipsticks!
