My Picks from China Glaze Lite Brites Summer 2016!!

*Purchased by me*

I had my cart at nailsupplies.us all filled up with some of the China Glaze fall colors when I remembered that I hadn't swatched all of the China Glaze summer polishes I got yet! So here we are today with my picks from Lite Brites Summer 2016. China Glaze What I Like About Blue is a gorgeous shimmering sky blue. It's like that perfect summer sky, a really saturated blue. The shimmer is really pretty too, it's fine and smooth, but definitely not a hidden shimmer (yay!).

This is two coats and the formula was great! It was a great consistency and was very easy to apply.

China Glaze We Got the Beet is a grape jam jelly with lots of copper glitter. I really love the concept of this polish. I love a good red-purple and I am always up for gold or copper glitter.

Though I love the concept, I can't say I love the end result. It is super sheer. This is three coats and look at how much VNL I have. I think I would be happy with this at about five coats, but ain't nobody got time for dat.

To make up for my disappointment in We Got the Beet, we have China Glaze I Got a Blue Attitude. This is a really excellent blue-violet creme, maybe a tad more violet in person than my pictures. It's really saturated, almost neon-like, it has that POW pop of color. This one has some subtle hidden blue shimmer in it. I think you can kind of see it below. It makes the polish look really smooth and adds a nice dimension.

This is two easy coats. It was nearly a one-coater actually! It has a nice easy formula and was great to work with.

I debated about ordering China Glaze Bite Me because I pretty much have every China Glaze neon pink from the last five or six years. However, I am SO glad I caved!!! This is my favorite neon pink so far!! It's pink, but it has a dash of coral that makes it stand out from pinks of the past. It looks really flattering and just screams summer! It is so bright that my camera was kind of freaking out, so just imagine this a lot brighter.

This is two coats and the formula is much better than neons of old. It was nicely even, not streaky, and smooth.

Last, but definitely not least, China Glaze Papa Don't Peach is a stunning hot orange coral jelly with the same copper glitter as We Got the Beet. It has peach tones to it as well and the glitter looks more golden than a burnished copper color. I love this one so much! I wore it as a full mani last week and stared at it all the time.

Now, i am a tad bit surprised at how much I love this, because it is a little on the sheer side. This is three coats and I do still have VNL. But it didn't bother me with this color for whatever reason. It also is still more opaque than We Got the Beet. I do think the peachy coral color is a bit better with VNL than the purple though.

If you're like me, you've probably pretty much made all of your summer nail polish purchases already and you're moving on to fall. But if you are still in summer buying mode, I do like all of these a LOT (with the exception of We Got the Beet). I ordered mine on nailsupplies.us, but they are still around in stores as well.
