Lynnderella Friday, Vol. 77!

 *Sent for review*

This week you can really start to see that summer is starting here at Never Enough Nails! It may be cold and rainy in CT the past few days, but I no longer care. I am ready for neons and brights! Lynnderella Electric Ambrosia fits right in! Lynnderella describes this one as a "multishimmered coral peach shimmerella with peach microflakes and pink shimmer, as well as assorted blue iridescent glitter". It is a really bright coral pink with peach tones that seem to show up better in person. The blue iridescent glitter is really gorgeous, it pops out of the vivid background so well!

This is three thin coats of Electric Ambrosia. I found that really thin coats were best here, the iridescent glitters could look a bit lumpy with thicker coats. This polish also dried semi-matte, so I used a nice shiny top coat. I think the base of this polish was a bit thicker than some recent Lynnderellas, but as long as I did nice thin coats it was fine.

Lynnderella Electric Ambrosia is available now at http://stores.ebay.com/lynnderella-lynnderella. Other lovely Lynns are available at lynnderella.com!

Colors by Llarowe One Headlight

*Purchased by me*

I'm still slowing making my way through all of the polishes I picked up at Polish Con. It's taking me awhile, but it's fun for sure! Colors by Llarowe One Headlight pretty much immediately caught my eye when I walked over to their table. This is a gorgeous neon pinky coral with blue shimmer and icy blue glass fleck. Like a lot of neons, it freaked out my camera a bit. I would say it is a bit more pink-orange in person, it looks almost reddish in some of these pictures.

This is a crelly finish, so I used three coats for the level of coverage seen here. With two coats there was still a lot of VNL, but I think the crelly finish allows the glass fleck to really shine. The formula was the perfect consistency and easy to work with. Use a shiny top coat, as with all neons, One Headlight dries semi-matte.

The Colors by Llarowe site is down right now for their vacation, so I am not entirely sure if this will be available again, but I hope so! If you love neons, glass fleck, and bright summery corals, you should try to nab this one!

KBShimmer Multi Chromes

*Purchased by me*

Today I have two of KBShimmers excellent Multi Chrome polishes for your enjoyment! I am wearing one of these right now as my full mani, and let me tell you, I am having such a good time watching it shift to all of its different colors! Also, just a reminder, you can win a $50 gift card to KBShimmer.com right now on my Instagram, so go enter!! So first up, we have the lovely polish I am currently wearing, KBShimmer Chroma Chameleon, one of their newer Multi Chromes. KBShimmer says that Chroma Chameleon shifts from "bright fuchsia pink, to a coppery rose, then a soft gold, to a spring green color", but I also see a deep glowing reddish plum that is really gorgeous. This is a serious shifter, I spent half of the day yesterday waving my nails around and staring at it (excellent use of my time).

I used three thin coats here. Two coats had a bit of VNL for me, but if you do thicker coats, two should work. The formula was nice and easy to work with. In the pictures I see some brushstrokes, but I can't really see them in person for the most part. So gorgeous, I am in love!

KBShimmer Pigment of My Imagination is a deep blue purple that shifts to red. Sometimes it can look navy blue, or brighter purple, or a red grape color. This one definitely has less shift than Chroma Chameleon, but it is still beautiful and shifty enough to be entertaining. I love the way it looks when you mostly see the purple, but the edges are all glowing red! Very cool!

This is three thin coats, same nice formula as Chroma Chameleon. Again, I see some brush strokes in the pictures, but they were less apparent in person. Just something to note in case that is your personal pet peeve!

Both of these are available right now on KBShimmer.com. Don't forget to enter my giveaway on Instagram and you can purchase these with your $50 KBShimmer gift card! The set of 6 of their new Multi Chromes is only $50, so it will work out perfectly 😉

Lynnderella Friday on a Monday!

*Sent for review*

I keep missing Lynnderella Friday lately, so I thought I'd just post these today! Maybe make Monday feel more like a Friday! Lynnderella Heart Puzzle is a silver holo microglitter with circle glitter accents in red, yellow and baby blue, with blue, yellow and red shimmer. You know I love circle glitters and these are little tiny cute ones! I like the contrast of the primary colors with the silver holo microglitter, very different!

This is three thin coats. It was pretty easy to apply, the circles came out readily and I didn't really have to do any placement of them.  I did have a little bit of VNL still, but I don't mind it with this one, the holo-ness kind of distracts you too much! I used one layer of top coat and it felt nice and smooth to the touch.

Lynnderella Violet's Electric is described as a "violet shimmerella-microglitter hybrid with tonal holographic microglitter and multishimmer". The mix of microglitter and shimmer is nice, it makes for a smoother, yet really sparkly finish. This violet is just glowing, so pretty! The holographic microglitter sparkles pink and adds to the overall glow of this polish.

This is two easy coats, with two layers of top coat. One layer of top coat was fairly smooth, but I really wanted the extra shine from the second layer.

Lynnderella Beach Day! has me ready for long summer afternoons at the beach, watching the clouds drift by! Beach Day! is a blue holographic microglitter with cloud and flower accents. There are also some circle glitter accents in yellow- like the sun! I really love this unique polish and can't wait to wear it on a beach day!

This is two coats, plus some placement of the larger cloud and flower glitters. With my small nail beds, I needed to position the clouds so that they could lay flat. But they are plentiful in the polish and easy to find. I used one layer of top coat, but two might really seal the clouds and flowers in a bit better.

Lynnderella nail polishes are available at http://stores.ebay.com/lynnderella-lynnderella, lynnderella.com, and Amazon.

KBShimmer All the Bright Moves and Polish Con Picks!

 *Purchased by me*

I am super excited to show you all these gorgeous KBShimmer polishes that I nabbed at Polish Con! KBShimmer has a new collection of hot neons that debuted at Polish Con. The neons from the All the Bright Moves collection have a juicy crelly-like formula and I think it makes them apply really well. KBShimmer Color Me Rad is super bright neon watermelon red. It has undertones of pink and orange, so it's not a straight up red. Both of these neons are so hard to photograph, my camera had a heart attack. I think my pictures of this one are too red, the pinkness shows up more in person. I am pretty obsessed with neons in the summer anyway and this one is fantastic!!

This is just two coats of Color Me Rad with no white base (yay!!). Who has time in the summer to use a white base under their neons? Not me! Luckily this is so vibrant and stunning, it's just a simple two coater on it's own. The formula is gel-like and really nice to work with. My only notes were to make sure each coat dried completely before applying the next. If the previous coat is too wet, there could be some pulling and patching.

The second neon I picked up is KBShimmer How Low Can You Flamingo? Again, it was hard to capture the true beauty of this, but it's the perfect hot flamingo pink. If you are a lover of neon pinks, snap this up right now! My pictures are a bit more accurate with this one than with Color Me Rad, but it still doesn't show off the true glowing beauty. I am putting this on my toes tonight, don't even care that tomorrow is going to be rainy and chilly!

This is two coats again with the same lovely gel-like formula. So smooth to apply and no white base needed. As with all neons, these dry matte or semi-matte, so use a nice shiny top coat!

The number one polish on my list for Polish Con was KBShimmer Grand Prospect Holo. This was a Polish Con exclusive, but I just had to show it to you because it's stunning! My pictures aren't doing it justice, but it shifts from a teal to aqua blue to an eggplant purple and deep blue, almost like a cobalt. In case that wasn't enough for you, it also contains a lot of small holo glitters, adding to the rainbow effect. It's a truly mesmerizing polish and the reason I made a beeline for the KBShimmer table immediately upon arriving at Polish Con.

This is just two coats and one layer of top coat. The holo glitters are small enough that they don't feel rough once you apply top coat. It was easy to apply and I love the slightly thicker consistency. Not too thick, but just thick enough that it doesn't run all over your cuticles. I have the same note on the formula about letting it dry a bit in between coats. If I applied the second coat too fast, I ended up pulling some of the first coat off. But that is easy enough to deal with!

The other KBShimmer Polish Con exclusive is KBShimmer We Make Your Dreams Come Blue. This frosty blue is loaded with holographic micro flakes and shimmer. It has a slight shift as well, from an ice blue to a purple-y, maybe almost periwinkle, and then a hint of aqua too. I love the rainbow-y goodness that the micro flakes add, nice touch!

This is two coats again, I'm very happy with the pigmentation of all four of these polishes. It had the same nice gel/crelly consistency as the others. The base of this one is a bit more jelly-like, so I had a little VNL at two coats, but I don't mind it. It feels like it belongs here!

In celebration of KBShimmer being my first stop at Polish Con, I am giving away a $50 Gift Card to KBShimmer.com! The entire All the Brights Moves collection is $50, so you can grab all the neons, or pick and choose from other great collections too!! Please stop by my Instagram account for details and to enter!
